The Sierra is Tata's mid-size SUV for buyers who want the nostalgia of a legendary nameplate with the tech of a spaceship — the one that finally answers the question: "What if we made a Creta competitor that actually looks like it belongs in 2026?" Priced from ₹11.49 lakh (ex-showroom) , on-road figures start around ₹12.65 lakh and stretch past ₹25 lakh depending on your city and variant . It's the most tech-loaded SUV in its segment — and it knows it.
Who should buy it? Nostalgia buyers who grew up wanting a Sierra and now have the money. Tech enthusiasts who want a dashboard that looks like a mission control centre.
What will bug you? The diesel engine is noisy and underpowered — owners report poor pickup and vibration issues . The fit and finish is inconsistent — panel gaps, rattles, and uneven tyre wear are common . The software glitches are relentless — owners report multiple breakdowns, software updates that don't fix issues, and service centres that use jugaad methods like putting foam to fix loose lights .

ARGOS platform solid aur planted feel deta hai.
7-speed DCT city aur highway dono mein smooth hai.
Sierra 1.5L TGDi petrol bahut powerful hai. 170 PS aur 280 Nm torque se highway pe maza aa jaata hai.
The 1.5L NA petrol is fine for city use, but the turbo is much better.
Some road noise creeps in at highway speeds. Insulation could be better.
