The Nexon EV is the car that single-handedly created India's electric SUV segment — and it still refuses to let go. Priced from ₹13.25 lakh to ₹18.76 lakh (on-road, Delhi), it's the EV for buyers who want the satisfaction of a 5-star safety rating without the anxiety of a 5-star price tag. It's also the EV for buyers who enjoy playing "will it or won't it start today" — but more on that later.
Who should buy it? First-time EV buyers who want a safe, feature-packed urban commuter with a strong service network. Anyone who thinks the XUV 3XO is too new and the Syros EV is too expensive.
What will bug you? The software glitches are relentless — ESP, auto-hold, and traction control errors are common. Owners report the car breaking down multiple times in the first year.

The highway range is not great. Only 250-275 km.
The car is a perfect family car. Excellent safety features.
The maintenance requirements are low. Service costs are reasonable.
The car feels premium inside. The interior is well-designed.
I've driven 50,000 km. The battery is still performing flawlessly.
