The Curvv is Tata's coupe-SUV for buyers who want to stand out in a sea of Creta clones — the one that finally answers the question: "What if we made the Nexon look like it's melting?" The Series X update, launched September 2026, starts at ₹9.99 lakh (ex-showroom), topping out at ₹18.75 lakh. The rear seat has been moved 20mm rearwards and 10mm lower, with slimmer front seatbacks — because apparently Tata realised the old one was a chiropractor's dream.
Rivals? The Citroën Basalt is its only direct coupe-SUV competitor, but it also competes with the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun, Maruti Grand Vitara, and Toyota Hyryder. The EV version takes on the Hyundai Creta Electric, Mahindra BE 6, and MG ZS EV.
Who should buy it? Buyers who want a coupe-SUV with a massive boot, segment-leading features, and the satisfaction of not driving a Creta like everyone else.
What will bug you? The coupe roofline compromises rear headroom for taller passengers. The ride is firm, the DSG-like DCA can be jerky in traffic, and Tata's after-sales service remains a lottery.
