The Ghost is Rolls-Royce's "entry-level" sedan — the one for billionaires who find the Phantom too ostentatious or simply too long for their chauffeur to park. Priced from ₹8.95 crore ex-showroom, on-road figures start at ₹10.28 crore for the standard wheelbase and stretch to ₹12.09 crore for the Black Badge. That's roughly ₹1.6 crore more than the Cullinan's starting price — which tells you exactly where Rolls-Royce thinks the priority lies.
Who should buy it? The billionaire who finds the Flying Spur too common and the Maybach too sensible. The industrialist who wants the RR badge without the Phantom's absurd length. Anyone who's ever said "I don't want to stand out too much" while spending ₹10 crore on a car.
What will bug you? The price — you could buy a Flying Spur and a G-Wagon for the same money. The fuel bills will make your accountant weep. The JLR reliability lottery doesn't apply here (Rolls-Royce is a separate entity), but service costs are still eye-watering.
