The Range Rover Sport Autobiography is the more luxurious and powerful version of the Sport, aimed at buyers who want performance without giving up the comfort expected from a Range Rover. The cabin is beautifully finished, the seats are extremely comfortable and the design has enough road presence to make sure nobody confuses it with an ordinary SUV.
The powerful petrol engine delivers effortless performance, while the automatic gearbox keeps the experience smooth. Air suspension gives it an excellent balance between comfort and handling, and the four-wheel-drive system means it is genuinely capable off-road. The rear seats offer good space, although the Sport's sloping design gives practicality a little less priority than the regular Range Rover. Its large size and wide tyres can also make Indian city driving stressful.
Who should buy it? Someone who wants flagship-level Range Rover luxury with stronger performance and a sportier driving experience.
What will bug you? The enormous size, high fuel consumption, expensive maintenance, costly tyres and complicated electronics can make ownership painful.
