The Porsche 911 is one of the few sports cars that can genuinely work as a daily driver without losing its performance credentials. Its iconic shape has evolved over decades, but the basic formula remains the same, a rear-mounted flat-six, excellent balance and sharp driving dynamics. The cabin is premium and comfortable enough for regular use, although the rear seats are better treated as extra luggage space for adults. The turbocharged flat-six engines deliver strong performance, while the PDK automatic gearbox is exceptionally quick and smooth. The 911 feels planted at high speeds but is still manageable in city traffic. Ground clearance is the bigger concern in India, especially with steep ramps and aggressive speed breakers. The boot and front luggage area offer some practicality, but this is still a sports car first. Who should buy it? Someone who wants serious performance but still wants a car they can realistically drive every day. What will bug you? The high price, expensive maintenance, low ground clearance and limited rear-seat usefulness can hurt practicality.

The Carrera 4 GTS is the best all-weather sports car you can buy. The all-wheel drive and the new 3.6-litre flat-six with hybrid assist make it a weapon in the wet. The cabin is classic Porsche—driver-focused, with a 10.9-inch infotainment screen that's crisp and responsive. The only downside is that the rear seats are really just for show. But for pure driving joy, nothing beats it.

The 992.2's HD-Matrix headlights are next-level. 32,000 pixels and 600-meter adaptive high beam. I drove through heavy rain on the Bandra-Worli Sea Link at 100 km/h and the car felt planted. The 8-speed PDK shifts seamlessly and the engine is smooth even at low speeds. It's not just a track car; it's a car you can enjoy every day.

It's not the most practical car, but it's the most rewarding car to drive. Pure emotion on wheels.

The 911 is a timeless icon. It looks stunning and drives even better than it looks.
