The MG ZS EV is a practical electric SUV for buyers who want something more substantial than a small city EV. It has a clean design, a comfortable cabin and enough space for a small family. The interior is not the newest in the segment anymore, but it still feels well equipped, with a good mix of features and everyday usability.
The electric motor delivers instant torque and makes the ZS EV smooth and easy to drive in traffic. The larger battery version is better suited to regular highway trips, although real-world range will still depend on speed, traffic and weather. Ride quality is comfortable, but the low-ish stance means you need to be careful with sharp speed breakers. Charging at home makes daily ownership easy, while longer trips require some planning around charging points.
