The MG Cyberster is not trying to be sensible, and honestly, that is the whole point. It is a two-seat electric roadster with dramatic scissor doors, a powered soft-top and styling that gets more attention than most cars costing twice as much. The cabin is properly sporty, with a digital-heavy dashboard, powered seats, Bose audio and a 360-degree camera.
The dual-motor AWD setup produces 510 PS and 725 Nm, sending the Cyberster from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds. Its 77 kWh battery has a claimed 580 km MIDC range, while DC charging can take the battery from 10 to 80 percent in roughly 40 minutes. The low driving position and double-wishbone front suspension make it far more serious around corners than its flashy looks suggest.
Who should buy it? Someone who wants a genuinely fast, head-turning convertible EV and does not care about carrying passengers.
What will bug you? It is a strict two-seater, has limited boot space, sits very low for Indian roads and charging infrastructure still needs some planning for long trips.

The on-road price crossing ₹90 lakh in some states is hard to justify when you consider the brand value of MG.
The futuristic interior with the tri-screen dashboard is the best part of the car. It's a genuine head-turner.
The lack of ventilated seats at this price point is a dealbreaker for me. My back was sweating after a 30-minute drive.
MG has created something special with the Cyberster. It's not perfect, but it's unforgettable.
It's a brilliant weekend car, but the low ground clearance and stiff ride make it a no-go for daily use in India.
