Expert Review

4.1/5
The MG Comet is one of the smallest electric cars you can buy in India, and its biggest strength is also its biggest selling point, size. It is tiny, easy to park and extremely easy to drive through crowded city streets. The quirky design gets attention, while the cabin feels surprisingly spacious for such a small car. Its electric motor is not built for speed, but it delivers instant response and works perfectly well for city traffic. The compact dimensions make U-turns, parking and narrow lanes almost laughably easy. The small battery is enough for daily commuting, but this is not a car you buy for regular highway trips. Rear seats are usable, but getting in and out is not particularly convenient, especially for adults. Charging at home is the best way to live with it. Who should buy it? Someone who mainly drives in the city and wants a second car that is cheap and ridiculously easy to park. What will bug you? Limited range, tiny boot space, only four seats and poor highway practicality restrict its use.
