4.4/5
The Mercedes-Benz V-Class is basically a luxury lounge that happens to have a steering wheel. In India, the 2026 V-Class comes in an Extra Long Wheelbase version, stretching 5.37 metres with a 3,430 mm wheelbase. The cabin is the real attraction, with plush reclining seats, ventilation, heating and massage, twin 12.3-inch screens and a premium Burmester audio system. The V 300 d gets a 2.0-litre diesel producing 237 hp and 500 Nm, paired with a 9-speed automatic. There is also a 231 hp mild-hybrid petrol option. Airmatic air suspension keeps the ride impressively comfortable, which is exactly what you want when the vehicle is nearly as long as a small apartment. Who should buy it? Someone who wants chauffeur-level rear-seat comfort, massive cabin space and Mercedes luxury without buying an SUV. What will bug you? Its 5.37-metre length, 160 mm ground clearance, huge turning circle and eye-watering ownership costs can make Indian city driving stressful.

The interior is gorgeous with the new MBUX setup. Everything feels solid and well-built. It would have been 5 stars, but the price is quite steep for an MPV. Still, if you want the best of comfort, this is the one to pick.

Excellent design and the AMG grille adds real road presence. The ventilated seats are great for our climate. Minor gripe is that some plastic bits in the back could have been better, but overall a fantastic, comfortable ride.

This V-Class is honestly like having a private lounge on the road. The massage seats and the ambient lighting make long road trips feel like a short commute. It is the best way to travel with family comfortably.

Love the new MBUX screens and the interface is snappy. The safety features give real peace of mind. Feels a bit pricey, but considering the luxury and space you get, it's a reasonable tradeoff for families.

Took this for a weekend trip with 6 adults and no one complained about space. The engine is punchy and handles highway speeds with ease. Build quality is typical Mercedes – sturdy and premium.
