The Mahindra XUV 7XO is the heavily updated version of the XUV700, aimed at buyers who want a feature-loaded family SUV with strong performance and three-row practicality. It keeps the bold SUV stance but gets a more modern cabin, updated technology and a more premium feel. Space is one of its biggest strengths, especially in the first two rows.
The turbo-petrol and diesel engines offer strong performance, while the automatic options make daily driving easier. The SUV feels planted on highways and handles long trips well, although its size is noticeable in tight city streets. The first two rows are spacious and comfortable, while the third row is more suitable for children or shorter adults. With all seats occupied, boot space becomes limited, so large family trips require some luggage Tetris.
Who should buy it? A family that wants strong performance, lots of features, good highway comfort and flexible three-row seating.
What will bug you? The large dimensions, fuel consumption, occasional electronic niggles and limited boot space with all three rows in use.
