It feels more premium than the older XUV500, while still keeping the practical family-SUV character. The high seating position and generous ground clearance also make it comfortable on typical Indian roads.
The 2.0-litre turbo-petrol is genuinely quick, while the 2.2-litre diesel offers strong torque and makes more sense for frequent highway driving. Automatic options make city use easier, and the ride quality is generally comfortable. The second row is spacious, while the third row is best treated as occasional seating, especially for adults.
Who should buy it? Families wanting a powerful, spacious and feature-loaded SUV that can handle both city driving and long highway trips.
