The BE 6 offers three battery packs — 59 kWh, 70 kWh, and 79 kWh — with claimed ranges stretching from 548 km to 683 km. The rear-wheel-drive motor produces 285 bhp and 380 Nm of torque, enough to hit 100 km/h in 6.7 seconds. The 20-inch alloys, 222 mm ground clearance, and 455-litre boot make it practical enough for a family, though the sharply sloping roofline means tall passengers will be doing yoga just to get in.
The cabin is a tech fest — a massive three-screen dashboard with Google Gemini assistant, built-in karaoke (because apparently we all need that), and a 360-degree camera. The ride is firm and sports-car-like on smooth tarmac, but broken roads will have you questioning your life choices. The "Revive" system unlocks 24 km of reserve range when your battery hits zero — a nice safety net, though you probably shouldn't rely on it.
Who should buy it? Tech-forward buyers who want an electric SUV that actually looks interesting. Creta Electric shoppers who want more performance and don't mind the higher price tag. Early adopters who understand that BaaS is a financing arrangement, not a charity.
What will bug you? The rear visibility is atrocious — you'll be reversing entirely by camera. The rear seat forces passengers into a knee-up position thanks to the battery under the floor. The Tata Curvv EV outsold it 7,131 to 6,849 in the first half of 2026 — Mahindra is chasing, not leading, on sales. And the Creta Electric's long-range version is ₹3.51 lakh cheaper than the BE 6's equivalent, which is a hard pill to swallow.
