Expert Review

4.6/5
The Urus SE is what happens when Lamborghini finally admits that even bull-wielding supercar owners need to navigate speed bumps. The plug-in hybrid V8 produces 800 bhp and 950 Nm of torque, hitting 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds — which is frankly unnecessary for dropping kids to school, but that's not the point. The 25.9 kWh battery offers up to 60 km of electric range, just enough to silently glide past your neighbours before unleashing the twin-turbo V8's 600+ bhp in Corsa mode. On-road prices range from ₹4.5 crore to ₹5.71 crore depending on city. Who should buy it? The Indian millionaire who wants a Lamborghini badge but needs to survive potholes. Celebrities like Hardik Pandya and Rohit Sharma already have one. The Urus has sold over 100 units in India — proof that the country's wealthy have officially run out of sensible things to buy. What will bug you? The ride is firm, the fuel economy is laughable, and at nearly ₹5 crore, you're paying a significant premium over the Aston Martin DBX 707 (₹4.63 crore) and Bentley Bentayga (₹5 crore). Also, the electric range is 60 km — enough for the school run, not enough to save the planet. But let's be honest, if you're buying an Urus SE, you're not counting kilometres.

Stunning performance and road presence, but road noise and a firm ride are letdowns.

The most complete super SUV ever made.

The hybrid system adds weight but the instant torque makes up for it. Still, the ride is harsh on broken roads.

EV mode for city driving and 800hp on tap when you need it. The perfect Jekyll and Hyde SUV.

The Urus SE is brutally fast and handles like a dream. But the ride is firm and the price is eye-watering.
