The Syros is Kia's second sub-4 metre SUV, and it sits awkwardly between the Sonet and the Seltos. At 3,995 mm in length, it's identical to the Sonet, but it's taller (1,680 mm vs 1,642 mm) and rides on a 50 mm longer wheelbase (2,550 mm). The result is a "tall boy" design that offers genuinely impressive rear-seat space—the rear seats are large, comfortable, and even adjustable.
The interiors are radically different from other Kias, featuring a 30-inch Trinity infotainment system that doubles as the instrument cluster. The 1.0-litre turbo-petrol (120 bhp) is shared with the Sonet and Venue, and the Syros gets Level 2 ADAS, ventilated seats, and a panoramic sunroof. Prices range from ₹9 lakh to ₹17.80 lakh, making it the most expensive compact SUV in its class.

What will bug you? The Syros is priced ₹1 lakh to ₹2.95 lakh higher than the Sonet, and it cannibalises its own sibling's sales while also confusing buyers who can't figure out why Kia needs two sub-4 metre SUVs. The design is polarising—some will call it quirky, others will call it ugly. And at the top end, it's dangerously close to the Seltos's price territory, making you wonder why you wouldn't just buy the bigger car.
