The interior is loaded with tech—a 14-speaker Meridian audio system, dual sunroofs, Level 2 ADAS, and V2L capability. But here's the rub: at ₹1.3 crore, you're paying German luxury prices for Korean luxury that isn't quite German-grade. The plastics aren't as premium, the paint quality has orange-peel issues, and the UI lacks the polish of a Mercedes or BMW.
Who should buy it? Buyers who want a massive, tech-loaded electric SUV and don't care about badge snobbery. Fleet operators looking for a premium chauffeur-driven EV. Kia loyalists with very deep pockets.
What will bug you? Everything. The interior isn't premium enough for ₹1.3 crore, the massage seats are audibly loud when operating, and you could buy a BMW iX or Audi Q8 e-tron for the same money and get a badge that impresses your neighbours. The EV9 is a brilliant car priced into a segment where "brilliant" isn't enough.
