The EV6 is fully imported, which explains the price premium over its Hyundai sibling. It offers 480 litres of boot space, a bold design that turns heads, and a driving experience that makes you forget you're in an SUV. The all-wheel-drive powertrain delivers instant torque and surprisingly sharp handling for a car of its size. Who should buy it? Early adopters who want an electric SUV that doesn't look like a fridge on wheels. Buyers who want the performance without the German badge tax. What will bug you? The ₹19.88 lakh price difference between the EV6 and the Ioniq 5 is hard to justify when they share the same platform. The rear seat is adequate but not class-leading, and the cabin, while premium, doesn't feel as special as the Ioniq 5's retro-modern interior. Also, the BYD Sealion 7 starts at ₹48.90 lakh and offers similar performance.

The EV6 is a fantastic car, easily one of the most enjoyable EVs I've driven. Excellent performance, strong real-world efficiency, and a genuinely premium driving experience. But the stiff suspension is a letdown, and it bounces a lot on bad roads.

I was hesitant to buy an EV, but the EV6 changed my mind. Running costs are very low and the instant torque is addictive. The low ground clearance is a problem on our "smooth" roads, but the ride feels as good as a 190mm car due to the good suspension.

The dual-motor AWD performance is exhilarating. It's extremely stable and planted on highways. The interior is premium and the ventilated seats work well. The only real downsides are the limited rear visibility and the lack of rear sunshades.

Good performance, but not worth the ₹60+ lakh price tag. The charging infrastructure isn't developed enough, and range anxiety is real. It's a car for people who have a second car for long trips. Great for tech lovers though.

The EV6 is very comfortable because of its long wheelbase. The low center of gravity from the battery makes it feel like a sports car. But the 12V battery ICCU issue is a known problem, and the subwoofer is placed poorly under the boot floor.
