The 2.0-litre turbo-petrol is surprisingly peppy and refined, offering ample grunt for both highway runs and rock-crawling. The ride is bouncy and truck-like on tarmac, but the moment you hit a dirt trail, it transforms into an unstoppable machine. The removable roof and doors offer an unmatched open-air experience, and the sheer off-road hardware—solid axles, locking differentials, and insane ground clearance—makes it capable of tackling terrain that would leave other SUVs stranded.
Who should buy it? Hardcore off-road enthusiasts, overlanders, collectors, and anyone who wants a vehicle that turns every drive into an adventure. It's a second or third car, not a primary family vehicle.
What will bug you? The on-road ride is choppy and noisy, with tremendous wind noise at highway speeds.
