The Taigun is Volkswagen's German-engineered compact SUV for buyers who value driving dynamics over feature lists — the one that proves you don't need a luxury badge to get a premium driving experience. Priced from ₹10.99 lakh to ₹19.29 lakh (ex-showroom), on-road figures start around ₹12.7 lakh for the base Comfortline and stretch past ₹22 lakh for the top-spec GT Plus Sport. It's roughly ₹31,000 more than its twin, the Skoda Kushaq, but undercuts the Creta and Seltos on driving feel.
Who should buy it? Driving enthusiasts who want European dynamics without the German price tag. Buyers who prioritise handling over features. Anyone who thinks the Creta is too soft and the Kushaq is too... Skoda.
