The Maruti Invicto is the brand's most premium MPV, and it is essentially Maruti's take on the Toyota Innova Hycross. Its large cabin, comfortable seating and strong hybrid powertrain make it a very capable family car. It also gets the familiar Maruti badge and service network, which can make premium MPV ownership feel less intimidating.
The 2.0-litre strong-hybrid petrol engine is smooth, quiet and particularly efficient in city traffic. The electric motor handles a lot of low-speed driving, making the Invicto feel effortless in stop-go conditions. The second-row captain seats are excellent for long journeys, while the third row is usable for adults for shorter trips. Despite its size, it is relatively easy to drive, although parking needs some planning.
Who should buy it? Large families who want premium comfort, strong fuel efficiency and a spacious six- or seven-seat MPV.
