Buy the Tiago if you want a compact city car, easy parking, lower cost and most of the same everyday features. Buy the Aeris if you regularly carry family and luggage, want a proper boot, prefer sedan styling and do not mind paying extra for it. The two cars share a lot of their basic DNA, so the Aeris does not feel like a completely different or significantly more powerful car. Its main advantage is that it packages the familiar Tiago formula into a compact sedan body with much better luggage practicality.
