JSW MG Motor India has officially opened pre-bookings for its highly anticipated 7-seater SUV, the MG Hector Hawk. Buyers can reserve their unit online for a token amount of ₹21,000, ahead of its official debut and launch scheduled for August 26, 2026.

What Is the MG Hector Hawk Based On?

The MG Hector Hawk is directly based on the global Wuling Starlight 560 from SAIC-GM-Wuling (SGMW).

Rather than being just a simple facelift or variant tweak of the original Hector, the Hector Hawk is built from the ground up on MG’s newly developed ADAPT (Advanced Drive Architecture Platform). This modular platform is specially engineered to support multi-powertrain setups, including pure electric (EV) and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) systems.
