Lexus RX

The RX is priced between ₹95 lakh and ₹1.20 crore (ex-showroom India), depending on whether you pick the RX 350h (self-charging hybrid) or the RX 500h F Sport (performance hybrid).

The 5th-generation RX came to India in April 2023, completely redesigned with a sharper “spindle body” look, new interiors, and updated hybrid powertrains.

1. RX 350h – 2.5L petrol-hybrid, 4-cylinder, 250 hp, e-CVT, AWD. Smooth and efficient, perfect for chauffeur-driven buyers. 2. RX 500h F Sport – 2.4L turbo-petrol hybrid, 371 hp, 6-speed automatic, AWD. Sportier, quicker, and built for those who actually drive their own luxury SUV.

1. RX 350h delivers around 17 kmpl, costing about ₹6 per km (petrol at ₹102/litre). 2. RX 500h is thirstier at 12–13 kmpl, costing about ₹8.2 per km. For a luxury SUV over 4.8 metres long, both figures are excellent compared to German rivals.
