V-Cross gets a decent safety and comfort package: six airbags, reverse parking camera & sensors, traction control, hill hold assist, hill descent control, electronic stability control (ESC), adjustable and folding rear seats.

If you want a pickup that’s tough enough to handle rough roads, trails, or bad weather, but don’t want the cost or size of a full large pickup like Hilux, the V-Cross makes a great compromise. With 225 mm ground clearance, serious torque, robust diesel engine, and proper 4×4 option, it can take you places many SUVs can’t. Also the load-body gives you utility for gear, camping, towing etc. It’s part adventure rig, part utility vehicle.

Because it’s built tough and heavy, expect fuel economy to drop sharply in city traffic. Ride quality won’t be as plush as soft SUVs. Maintenance costs (tyres, diesel engine parts, 4WD components) will be higher. Also spare-parts/service centers are fewer compared to mainstream SUVs, so check if there’s decent support in your area. The load bed means less comfort in rear seats compared to full SUVs.

Buy V-Cross if you love adventure—driving off-grid roads, outdoor trips, transporting gear, or need a vehicle that can double as work and weekend fun.
