Suzuki unveiled the eVitara on 28th November. When a brand like Maruti, known for its unmatched mileage and reliability, steps into electric vehicles, you know it’s not without serious groundwork. They’ve clearly done their homework with their BEV (Born Electric Vehicle) platform HEARTECT-e. The vehicles are not retrofitted into ICE cars the way it has been done in the case of Nexon and Curvv.
The eVitara’s design theme, “High-Tech & Adventure,” blends the futuristic vibes of a BEV with the ruggedness of an SUV, perfect for those who love exploring. On the outside, it flaunts big, bold tires and a stretched wheelbase, while the inside is packed with an integrated display, advanced features, and tough-looking panels that scream style and utility.
This 5 seater Maruti electric SUV has answers to both the questions: kitni chalti hai and kahaan chalti hai! Here you go with the specs:
2WD (Standard) 4WD (Advanced Option)
In India, the Maruti eVitara will face competition from Tata's Curvv EV and Mahindra's BE 6e. While the Curvv EV brings a stylish coupe-like design to the table, the real face-off will likely be with the BE 6e, another Coupe SUV. Both eVitara and BE 6e are true BEVs (born electric vehicles), designed from the ground up as electrics, promising advanced tech, range, and performance. It’s shaping up to be an exciting battle in the EV space!
