Volkswagen is set to disrupt the electric vehicle (EV) market with its latest offering—the ID. EVERY1. This entry-level electric car is expected to be Europe’s most affordable EV, priced at €20,000 (approximately ₹18 lakh in India). It aims to bring electric mobility to a wider audience without breaking the bank. The vehicle is part of Volkswagen’s strategy to make sustainable driving accessible, with a planned 2027 launch.

Volkswagen ID. EVERY1 – An Entry-Level EV

The expected range is around 300 km (186 miles) on a full charge, which is modest compared to premium electric vehicles but reasonable for its price segment. The car is built on Volkswagen’s second-generation MEB platform, ensuring efficiency and affordability.

Could VW ID. EVERY1 Be Priced Under ₹10 Lakh in India?

Volkswagen id Every1 If Volkswagen decides to manufacture the ID. EVERY1 locally in India, costs could be significantly reduced. Factors like localized battery production, tax incentives under FAME-II, and reduced import duties could help VW price the car competitively—possibly under ₹10 lakh. This would make the ID. EVERY1 a strong contender in the growing Indian EV market.
